Artemis Class Biomech

Despues de haber usado al resto de Syntha de la caja de inicio para intentar aprender a dar un tono gris metalizado, y acabar con un resultado que no me convencía, decidí hacer un cambio para el siguiente intento.

Esta vez utilizaría un gris normal, ya que el problema, a mi me parece, había sido con el gris azulado. El resultado se puede notar comparando las piernas, donde se ha usado el primer gris, con el cuerpo, donde se ha usado un nuevo gris más puro.

After using the other Syntha from the starter for trying to learn how to apply a metallic grey, and ending with a result which didn't convince me, I decided to make a change for the next attempt.

This time I would user a normal grey, as the problem, I think, was the bluish grey. The end result can be noticed comparing the legs, where the old grey has been applied, with the torso, where a new more pure grey was used.

Los colores imitan claramente el esquema oficial de la facción. Nada especial a ese respecto. Lo que me pareció más interesante era imitar el pelo de aspecto artificial, azul con un brillo casi metálico, que se ve en las ilustraciones. Realmente, me basé más en otra imagen de una Artemis para decidir como pintarlo, pero me temo que no la encuentro por ningún lado.

The color scheme clearly copies the company's one for the faction. Nothing special on that point. What I found more interesting what trying to copy the artificial looking hair, blue with a nearly metallic shine, which can be seen on the illustrations. Actually, I used another Artemis image for this, but I fear I can't find it anywhere.

Hay una cosa que sí que no copié de la ilustración, la piel al descubierto. Será una criatura biomecánica increiblemente avanzada y lo que quiera, seguro que aguanta lo que le echen encima, pero no me parecía serio que fuera por el campo de batalla desnuda. Y además, la ropa metalizada apretada siempre da un aire de ciencia ficción.

There is a thing which I did not copy from the illustration, the naked skin. It may be an incredibly advance biomechanical creature and wathever, I'm sure it can survive anything, but I thought it wasn't serious that it would be on the middle of the battlefield completely naked. Also, the skin-tight metallized suit always gives a Sci-Fi tone to anything.
