Tac Androsynth squad

Estas miniaturas salieron de la caja de inicio de Urban War, que traia, para la facción Syntha, cuatro Androsynth, un Pointman y una Artemis. Unas miniaturas bastante curiosas con un tono cyberpunk clásico.

These miniatures come from the starting box for Urban War, which, for the Syntha faction, did come with four Androsynth, a Pointman and one Artemis. These are some nice miniatures, with a classical cyberpunk tone.

Cuando comenzé a pintar esta escuadra quería prácticar el uso de grises para la técnica de NMM (Non-Metallic Metal).

Empecé usando un gris azulado como base, y despues de dedicarle mucho tiempo acabó con el resultado que se puede ver. Deja mucho que desear, pero al menos fue una buena práctica. Por suerte la técnica mejoró con el Pointman y acabo dando un resultado bastante aceptable con la Artemis. Claro que eso fue despues de cambiar a otro gris.

When I started painting this squad I was looking to practice the use of greys for the NMM (Non-Metallic Metal) technique.

I started with a blue-grey base, and after a lot of time it ended as it can be seen. Could be much better, but at least it was a nice practise. Luckily the technique improved with the Pointman and ended looking decently with the Artemis. But that was after moving to another grey.

Probablemente no se note, pero una o dos de estas figuras necesitaron arreglos entre los brazos. Hubo que perforar y quitar bastante metal, hasta lograr que apareciera una separación entre los brazos, el pecho y el arma. Un problema que parece bastante común con las miniaturas de Urban War.

Probably it isn't noticeable, but one or two of these miniature needed some fixing on the space between the arms. It was necessary to drill and remove metal, until a separation between the arms, torso and weapon appeared. A problem which seems to be quite common with the Urban War miniatures.
